Principles

What does Lagom offer you and your furry friend?

3.png

Individual
Planning

Every cat and dog has different needs. Therefore, feeding plans are not uniform; they are individually calculated based on your furry friend's age, gender, breed, weight, activity level, and health history.

2.png

Holistic
Opinion

Nutrition is an important starting point and often one of the most influential factors. Stress, sleep, physical activity, non-formula feeding routines, and environmental factors also need to be considered.

1.png

Scientific
Permanent

Energy and nutritional requirements are assessed according to internationally recognized references such as NRC and FEDIAF, and the role and effectiveness of each material used are evaluated according to the most up-to-date literature. This ensures not only that energy needs are met, but also that the most appropriate choices are made.

4.png

Accessible and Sustainable

Dietary plans are tailored to fit household routines, budget, time, and available supplies. The goal is a realistic and long-term sustainable system, offering both raw and cooked options.

5.png

Information Sharing
and Transparency

The plan clearly explains why it was created this way, what goal it serves, and how it will be implemented. This way, the person doesn't just receive a "list," they learn how to make choices, and the process can be carried out more safely.

I was born in Istanbul in 1996. I've lived a life surrounded by all kinds of animals. In 2014, I started studying Advertising at Istanbul Bilgi University. Later, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Marketing at the same university. During my 8 years on campus, I was directly involved in the health and nutrition of campus animals. In the same years, I founded Loki's Helping Paw, a social responsibility community that supports hundreds of animals in need by providing them with treatment, food, and temporary or permanent homes.

In 2018, I enrolled in the Anadolu University Laboratory Technician and Veterinary Health Associate Degree Program to respond more quickly to the treatment of the animals under my care. That same year, I discovered natural feeding due to my own dog's persistent health problems with prescription food. Leveraging my veterinary technician background, I began analyzing the literature to gather nutrition and care tips, and sharing them with those around me. Since 2021, I have been an accredited Pet Nutritionist, having received training from leading institutions such as NAVC and CIVT.

ABOUT

Lagom Holistic Pet Care

Lagom Holistic Pet Care was founded in 2025 with the goal of offering a more conscious, balanced, and holistic approach to nutrition for cats and dogs. Every cat and dog is different in terms of age, breed, lifestyle, health history, and individual needs. Therefore, we view nutrition not as a one-size-fits-all solution, but as a vital aspect of life that must be considered specifically for each cat and dog.

At Lagom Holistic Pet Care, our approach is based on scientific data, individual planning, and sustainable practices. While we base our recommendations on current nutritional references such as NRC and FEDIAF, we also consider the cat's or dog's living conditions, care routine, palate, and the family's daily routine. Our aim is not only to create plans that seem theoretically correct, but also to offer solutions that are practical, accessible, and sustainable in real life.

Our holistic approach views nutrition as a whole. Ingredient selection, meal structure, digestive tolerance, physical condition, activity level, and overall quality of life are all considered together. Whether raw, lightly cooked, or homemade food options are chosen, safety, balance, and individual suitability are always prioritized.

At Lagom Holistic Pet Care, the focus is on guidance, not judgment. Every caregiver has different resources, priorities, and lifestyles. Therefore, instead of imposing rigid rules, our approach is to offer an informed and realistic roadmap. Our goal is to support better nutrition for cats and dogs while also empowering caregivers to feel safer, more informed, and more empowered.

Lagom Holistic Pet Care represents a simplified yet not sloppy, balanced yet not superficial approach. Because good nutrition doesn't have to be complicated. With the right information, the right planning, and the right guidance, it can become much more accessible.

"For years, in every question we've had about our lovely daughter Tantuni..."

"Zeynep was the first person we contacted, and because she directed us to the right resources and the right people for every question, we never felt alone with any problem."

PHOTO-2026-03-08-17-45-41.jpg

Berfin K.

"We met Zeynep when Vega, who has severe atopic dermatitis, contracted salmonella. She was experiencing skin problems due to allergies and very serious stomach problems due to salmonella. We've been following her new diet for about 8 months now. Her stomach problems and allergies have decreased. For the first time, we're spending a winter without her needing IV fluids."
